J-strap bifold hardware for western and rustic interiors — the visible curved strap and roller bring the same hardware-forward western character to bifold configurations where wall clearance beside the opening is limited. Available in arch bronze, rustic brown, Jacob's gold, and matte black across standard duty Goldberg Brothers, heavy duty Goldberg Brothers, and house value line. Two-door and 4-door biparting configurations. Wagon wheel and horseshoe hardware are not available in bifold — for those styles in a sliding configuration, see our western hardware kits collection.
Choosing the right western bifold kit
- 2-door bifold — two panels fold to one side. Approximately 5 in (Goldberg Brothers) or 6 in (house value line) of stack on the pivot side. Covers openings up to 93 in. Common in western interiors for closets, utility rooms, and mudroom entries.
- 4-door biparting — four panels split symmetrically, two to each side. Approximately 5 in of stack per side. Covers openings up to 188 in. Alignment plates included where panels meet at center.
- Standard duty — panels up to 125 lbs total (2-door) or 250 lbs (4-door biparting), door thickness 1-1/4 in to 1-3/8 in.
- Heavy duty — for thick solid wood and reclaimed panels common in western and ranch spaces. Up to 400 lbs (2-door) or 800 lbs (4-door biparting), door thickness 1-3/8 in to 2-1/4 in.
Handles are included with all Goldberg Brothers bifold kits, color-matched to your selected finish. House value line kits do not include handles. Soft close is not available for any bifold configuration.
